Oh My Gosh you don't know how much trouble this LO gave me. It is funny how you think everything is straight until you photograph it. I tried to mimic the font on box that Elf on the Shelf comes in. I'm not that happy with it. I tried to go out on the net to copy and paste the title, but didn't have any luck. The elf sitting on the shelf was a nightmare to make with the Silhouette...too many little parts and no insturctions as to what layer goes first. Therefore I was picking up the collar and replacing it. It ripped. Fortunately I cut two. I typed up the journaling on cardstock. I was cutting it down on the cutter. I got so far and the blade stopped! I was mad thinking "how could the blade be bad I just replaced it!" Well I flipped over the paper and there was the chipboard elf stuck to the paper!
Fortunately she wasn't injured. LOL
That cute mitten rick rack came from Jo ann's last year. I can't believe it is so crooked.
I've decided I really don't like "White" space and I almost covered all of it. The box that the Elf comes in is white, so I wanted the background white. I hope the entire thing is good enough for a ten year old.
Journaling: Rayn, You really enjoy your Elf on the Shelf. You named her Sugar Bell. She comes on December 1st and stays until the Eve of December 24th. On Dec. First you found her amongst the foam-craft houses on the mantel. You made her the cutest skirt this year and a reindeer to keep her company. You write to her every evening and she leaves you a note by morning. Sje came along with you to make cookies. She also came over here (Papa and Mommo's house) on Christmas Eve. You were sad that she had to return to the North Pole.
The big chipboard elf is Bo Bunny. Pattern paper with elves on it is from Hobby Lobby.
