geesh, I am sitting here trying to guess what kind of tree bark it is, and I do have a book I could look it up in, but I am just going to guess it is an Oak.

Now that is cooler, I love sitting on my front porch and getting outside. I was sitting on the porch playing around with my camera on different settings. I wanted a macro shot of a tree. I know, I'm strange. Anyway, after several tries I got this! I love how it shows the different shades of the tree. I am not good at judging distance but would say this was shot from about 10 feet away.
