:) My gram is 84 going on 25. She is and always has been super healthy.. and on the go all the time... she has a theory that once she decides it's time to slow down and be still.. she will be done. When she turned 75 my nephew (who was only around 5 at the time) said "man you are old" she told him she was middle aged... my 10 year old said with a gasp "geez grandma how long are you planning to live"... she said "at LEAST a hundred and fifty"
Love older people with spirit like that!
I love it when I hear stories like that! Met a lady why was 98 last week and could have passed for 75 any time. Spry and funny and full of joy. I wanted to take her home. Great that you have something that reminds you of her.
What a very special keepsake! I have about 60 hand crocheted angles my grandma made me for my tree. I havent used them in a few years but have kept them and will hand them down to my girls eventually.
This ornament was made by my aunt when she was well into her 90's. She was an amazing woman. The week before she died at the age of 97, she was pulling up turnip greens in her own garden. She had only been in the hospital twice. And got around better than people half her age.
