this is so precious! :) the only thing i suggest is to mat the other pics at the bottom to have the same "height" as that of the middle photo (as earlier suggested by Tracey). ;) otherwise you did a good job on this lo! :)
Very special LO for sure! I would like to suggest mounting the bottom stip of photos to make them all of equal height. So, there would be a very small border around Andrew's full-body pic., and a lot less on all the others. Another small tip I can share is that when I journal in a pre-defined space, I always make a pc. of scrap paper the same size as my journaling area and write on scrap paper to see if it all fits or needs a bit more. You have done a nice job with this LO...I'm afraid to scrap my pics. of my dd's birth since I look soooooooo bad in them (after 20 hrs. of labor!) LOL
Great LO! I love how you were able to incorporate so many pictures. I agree with trying to incorporate a bit of the striped pp from the top in the bottom part. It might get lost behind the pictures though -- how about a really thin strip of it across the bottom of the photos? I really like how you did the title with the little picture of DS. TFS!
Great lo! Love the color scheme you used. I agree that a strip of the stripe paper running behind the bottom photos would be great. Love the way you did the title and all the photos you were able to use :)
Great job...love the ivy idea. LOL :) I like the striped pp at the top...I think a strip of it would look great behind the pics on the bottom as well. I like the handwritten journaling...I think it's not used enough (in general). Nice work!
This is a scraplift from "Scrapbook Shortcuts Usinng Simple Schemes" by Simple Scrapbooks mag. There were so many cute schems for 8.5 x 11 pages, and I wanted to try some, but all of our family pages are 12 x 12. So I decided to go and scrap some pages for a book for my oldest , Andrew, who turned 9 this June. I thought it was only fair, since my style has evolved so much since I did pages for him 8 years ago! I am finding that I really really love the 8.5 x 11 format...not sure what it is, but rectagles rock!!!
Solid color paper is Stampin up!, patterned paper is DieCutsWithaView and yep...that is a Mrs. Grossman's ivy sticker over Andrew's winkie (that was dh's idea!LOL)
