Journaling: The Changing the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace is an intricate military
procession that takes place at 11:30 AM every other day during the month of
August. The ceremony typically lasts for 45 minutes.
During the ceremony the New Guard marches with a Guards Band from Wellington
Barracks to Buckingham Palace, where a new sentry relieves the old sentry from
duty, and then the New Guard escorts the Old Guard back to their barracks.
