This is the first page of the album I am making for my little cousin Madi. The idea started out as chronicling her first year. But I never got around to it until now, only problem is... she's now 4 years old. So I'm changing the concept around and making it an album of her first 5 years, with sections dedicated to each year. This is the cover page for the first year.
I'm submitting this LO in the March Doodle Challenge.
The quality of the baby picture is fairly bad since this was the picture the hospital took and the only copy available to the family was a very small preview image online. She was actually pasty white when she was born, not all red like in that picture.
The baby girl title is a sticker placed on pp which I watercolored around the edges then doodled stars and lines around it. Around the picture I attached buttons and purple fiber and also doodled stars. The chipboard circle in the top left corner has circles doodled on it and then small circles doodled around it. I made the pp under the rattle (that I paper pieced) by painting diamonds onto the paper and then doodling the outline of the diamonds with a gel pen. I also paper pieced the baby crib. Right above the squares of pp on the bottom I also doodled a bunch of tiny circles. The buttons are attached using the same purple fibers already described.
