photo from circa 1953. I had to scan this photo into my photoshop program and clean it up quite a bit as it had faded over the years. This is my Mama's family (and I'm just guessing at the date - she wrote the names all around the photo, but no date)
I used Carta Bella Rustic elegance ppr for this layout. I cut out a tiny stitched frame in black to layer with the photo. The title work "Together is a great place to be" was created with the Silhouette program. I cut the "together" out four times and layered it, then colored it with Copics to match the papers. The rest of the title is on a printed strip. The welcome tag was also created with the silhouette as were the names of all the people in the photo. I cut the flowers tucked behind the frame from another piece from this collection and tucked them behind the photo and frame. Cut several various sized strips from different papers in the collection and made a border across the bottom of the paper. The last thing I did was add some green Nuvo drops scattered around the layout. The only journaling on this layout is the list of people in the photo.
