This is a less sunny post of the same layout. I couldn't decide which one was better. I tried really hard to do a good job on this one.
I found so much inspration on this site for this project. I mostly borrowed ideas from Gabriellp and 2dogs. There work is just beautiful. I wrote the story of this project in my blog but I will paste it here for you to read.......I was going to stop going to the craft store. I was wrong. I didn't realize the connection was so strong and I am weak. You see It all started on Father's Day when out of 18 pictures there was one perfect picture where all four of the cousins seemed to be looking at the camera at the same time that the picture was being taken. This was the seed that sprouted the idea.....a project!!!! Yes and what a wonderful project it will be. I'll make the most beautiful scrapbook page unlike any page I had ever made before! I'll add whoozits and whatzits and pretties galore. Then I'll put it all in a frame and give it to my mother in law as a present. I knew I had a flyer from JoAnne's and I tried to ignore it but it wasn't long before I just had to have it. I looked and I looked but it wasn't where it was supposed to be. I was riffling thought my house like a junkie missing my stash. Finally, there under the sofa was my precious craft store flyer. I felt immediate relief....and this is what I made. I really wanted some of those rhindstone flourishes but three stores later I couldn't find any. Thanks for reading and looking (:
