Oh my - how lovely! The blossoms look almost identical to our apple tree (which won't bloom until late May or early June). Does the air smell sweet around this tree? You can definitely smell our apple blossoms :)

POD 03-24-09 Yoshino Cherry Blossoms

I planted this Yoshino Cherry Tree last year when it was about 4 1/2 feet high. Now it is about 8 feet high and looking very healthy. This is the same type of cherry tree that is planted around the tidal basin in Washington DC.
