Here we are on our wedding day, almost 15 years
ago now. I can only say that I probably love
you more with each passing year.
You are not typically romantic - (I will never
forget you asking me... Do you want flowers for
Valentines day?) but you sometimes suprise me.
Like having a pair of cufflinks turned into diamond
earings for me for our 14th wedding anniversay.
It is the little things that really show your love
for me and our children. For the past few days
'flu has hammered our children and me... and
there you are tirelessly working through the
nights to dose medicines, change sheets, and
run cool baths to help bring down the childrens
temperatures.
I am reminded once again how special you are,
how lucky I am to have you in my life. Through
all the ups and downs... I know I can count on
you when I need you.
Love is not about flowers and candy, its not
about romantic holidays, its about those every-
day little things that show you care...
Doug, you are my Number One,
my only one.
