Journaling reads:

REBECCA, today I went out and bought you something BRIGHT!
Why? Because I opened a scrapbooking kit and and I realized I was GUILTY of dulling your world with pastels ...

I remember seeing a friend’s little girl all DRESSED UP in a BRIGHT dress, she had been given as a gift. Like most Moms, my friend dressed her daughter in baby pinks, powder blues and dreamy lilacs. So, the BRIGHT dress was left hanging in the cupboard. One day she pulled it out. She then described how her daughter touched the fabric in WONDER. She BEAMED at her Mom and said PRETTY!

This week you went for for your 8-mth clinic visit. a pile of toys was on the floor Your choice – a BRIGHT orange ball. Today I know you chose that simple ball for only 1 reason... it was BRIGHT!
