This is my 3rd layout for the MM contest. This layout is very special to me because it is dedicated to my mother. My mom went through an amazingly difficult year. At 32 years old I leared so much about her character that I didn't fully realize before. TFL. Missy

The journaling reads:
Loving, caring, strong, honest, intelligent, determined, ambitious, sensitive, creative, beautiful... these words can not even begin to describe her character. My mother is truly my inspiration, and I am so impressed by her true strength of character. On June 4th, 2004 my step father went in the hospital for hip replacement surgery. Nobody could have predicted the roller coaster ride the following year would bring. For the first few days after surgery everything looked fine, but then Allen started to get very sick. Over the next nine months he went through many ups and downs, and never left the hospital. On more than one occasion we did not think he was going to make it through the night. Throughout this entire ordeal my mother stayed strong. Although not confrontational by nature my mother had to constantly monitor the medical care given to Allen and argue with the insurance company about coverage. In the middle of all this she lost her job because of the cost of Allen’s medical bills. I can’t even begin to imagine the stress she was under. She was worried about losing her job, losing her house, but most of all about losing her husband. I am in awe of how strong she stayed and kept the focus on Allen and his recovery. In January 2005 Allen was able to come home. My mother has found a new job with a great company and continues to help with Allen’s recovery. I can not possibly find the words to tell her how much I admire her, and how happy I am that she is my mother.
