this is absolutely stunning!! I have had some of this Radiant Rain stuff for a couple of years and never ever see it mentioned anywhere so it was a pleasant surprise to find it used by someone else awith such a beautiful result!
Gee, Karin, when you got it, you got it: that simple! It seems that, not only are you able to create gorgeous LO's, you can create fabulous cards as well! Love it!!
He is going to love this, it looks just wonderful. Making cards is just like doing a lo only on a smaller scale and you have mastered the lo part, so I know that you can create a card with that beautiful Karin style, well actually you have!!

I don't usually make cards. This was a labor of love because it is for my son-in-law who has called me "mom" from the very first day of marriage! He is the son I never had and I am so blessed that he loves my daughter and our family the way he does! I started the card with a manilla tag that I distressed with wet distress ink. Then I lightly sprayed iridescent gold Radiant Rain over the whole thing, drying in between. I inked the edges with vintage photo, crimped and distressed a piece of tan cardstock so it would look like driftwood, added the fishing net and cut-out shells. I stamped "son" on this thin sheet of cork I picked up at my LSS and stamped and embossed the "happy birthday" It ended up being a fun card to make. Since my "Kevin" is a huge surfer, the inside just reads "Wishing you oceans of love and happiness". TFL!
