When we went whale watching on our honeymoon, we were lucky enough to get a good glimpse of 3 whales. The whales actually approached our boat.
Our guide from Pacific Whale Foundation even told us that it was quite unusual to see whales getting so close to the boat so early in December.
In case anybody's wondering... the second picture of the whale is not a real whale. There was no way we could've gotten that great of a shot ..=) DH took a picture of a toy whale to make it look like the whale was breaching. He's such a goof!
