Hi everybody! So... I've changed this one already - I thought it was out-of-balance at the bottom left, so I wrote "She's a Senior now" in the corner. Then, I added a ribbon & slide in the upper right-hand corner. Maybe I'll try to re-post later on. Thanks for looking and all your nice comments!
this is so awesome jo, love these papers, i had to look up steam punk too, but find it so difficult to add in the metal elements for some reason. you did an awesome job.
Great job and thanks for explaining it to me! I wondered that myself. I can recognize a steampunk layout, but I didn't know what it actually is. Love the lacing!
To be honest, I didn't know what in the world I would do with these papers when they arrived. I looked up steampunk (a very librarianish thing to do) and discovered that is a combination of old - usually Victorian - with futuristic elements, or things that were then ahead of their time. The photo is my oldest dd in 1997 looking thru the back window of an old rusted car body. She is very much an individual, so I thought this paper line would be appropriate for some of her photos. This is also my first attempt at lacing. I didn't have any eyelets, but I forged ahead anyway. TFL!
