Two Pink Lines

My positive pregnancy tests! The journaling lies behind the yellow card off to the side. It says:

You were such a surprise! A GREAT surprise! Your dad and I decided in 2008 to have a baby. . In December, I had decided to just stop trying…that if it was meant to be, it would just happen. At 2:00 pm January 25, 2010 our dream came true. There were TWO pink lines this time! When I saw the first two pink lines, I didn’t believe what I was seeing. We had tried so many times, and so many of these tests were just disappointment. Not this time! There were TWO pink lines! I had to do a double take. I paced around the house, Lizzy on my heels wondering what I was so nervous about; until I realized I had to call your dad. I asked him if he could go to the truck because I had something to tell him, and he might not want to be at work. “What?” He said, to which I replied “umm…I think I might be pregnant.” He was so caught off guard, he said “for real, for real? Like really?” The he said “how?” to which I laughed and explained how all the sudden I realized I didn’t have my monthly “friend” in January. Once I realized this, I counted days and realized I was already 10 days late, so I took a test and there were TWO pink lines!! We decided not to tell everyone at that particular moment. Once I finally made it home from work, and we talked about it…I decided to test again to see if it was true. Thankfully, once again there were TWO pink lines!! We immediately called your Grandparents, who were ecstatic. They, too, couldn’t believe that just like that…here was evidence you were really starting to grow.

You can't really tell from the photo, but I cut out some of the arrows that were meaningful to the moment, and pop-dotted them. I added some stickles elsewhere throughout the paper. The paper is K&Co. Urban Rhapsody.
