My 2 best friends found out they were expecting within weeks of each other. I couldn't have been more excited for them. The plan was to make 2 trips home to be there when they arrived. But God decided to make it a bit easier, and the babies ended up being born 12 hours and 11 minutes apart. One on January 24 and the other on January 25. This is my friend Samantha's daughter, Cheyenne Faith Byrd. Cheyenne was born January 25. I created this lo for Samantha's first Mother's Day. I used a pencillines sketch for this. I used purple of the bg, the white scalloped circle has an eyelet print (not sure if you can tell in the picture). The photo is double matted with a purple/daisy print and a pink gingham print. The pink floral print I used for the borders I bought at Michael's, I used the pattern to cut the border. I used BoBunny's Chunky Charms as the template for the purple gingham flourish, I actually traced them both (on the back of the paper of course) and connected them then cut them out as one. I added some pink pearls from Jolee's "All That Bling" to each large swirl (though on the bottom swirl they ended up getting covered with a flower). Added some bling along the flourishes. The daisies are MS. The title is done with a medal by making memories. I did some doodling, added 3 pearls above every other scallop over the circle. Used an MS butterfly punch, doodled on the butterflies and gave them pearl bodies and doodled some trails. As with Ashley's, I also did some special journaling on the back thanking Samantha for allowing me to be apart of Cheyenne's arrival. I think I covered everything, thanks so much for stopping by!
