**WARNING** DO NOT read the journaling if you are squeamish or easily grossed out, lol. Here is the journaling, it explains it all...

One of the boy’s favorite pastimes is playing with playdoh. They will play for hours and hours on end coming up with all sorts of objects and items. This past Christmas they received some new playdoh from grandma and grandpa and this new set came with 48 colors - wow! It also contained a variety of new tools. Micheal is a tool user, he will squish and squeeze playdoh between molds to make little animals. He will also squeeze out strings through the syringe tools, then cut them up with his little scissors. Alex on the other hand likes to create items from freehand, using no tools other than his little fingers. His favorite item to make is a snake (of course, lol) but he tries to build tanks and airplanes as well. WELL, on this particular day his creative thought went in a completely different direction and do not ask me where he got this idea (snips and snails and puppy dog tails they say ~ not too far from the truth). Well he was so happy to call me "Mommy - Mommy, I made a Weiner dog come and see". So I finished up the delicate task of squeezing spaghetti through a syringe-like tool for Micheal and headed over to the table to see Alex's work of art. At first it took a second to register in my head exactly what it was I was looking at, no it couldn't be!!. I asked "ALEX, what is that on your Weiner dog?". "It's a wiener dog that pooped Mommy" he replied with glee at the disgust in my voice. When I looked up at him he had the most happy and knowing smile on his face. What a little turd I have (no pun intended), lol. He was so proud of his creation that we had to "save it to show daddy when he gets home from work". "Of course" I replied with no sarcasm at all. 04.30.2006
