This is page one of a planned 2 page spread. Only had time to work on one page today however. Just my eldest hanging at the beach a few years back. It was such a gorgeous day and super quiet, perfect for running and playing.
Here is the journaling, it explains it all: Ahhhhh, the warm and lazy days of summer. We spent a week at the lake lot in early august and the timing couldn’t have been better. The weather was warm, camp was quiet and we pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves. We spent hours lazing in the sun, building sand castles and combing the beach for tiny shells. Alex and Micheal tested the waters but didn’t wade out too far. Mike stayed busy filling up his little pails with water and bringing them onshore to fill up the holes that mommy had dug in the sand for him. Alex loved to chase the little birds when they would venture near and laughed with glee at how silly they looked when they tried to out run him. Mommy just soaked up the rays and snapped a few photos of her sweet little beach bums. August 2004
