This was my son's first doctor visit. He was 6 days old and his umbilical cord had not fallen off yet. He didn't mind being weighed. Having his head measured, well, not so much! Not sure why babies hate that. It seems so simple and non-invasive. The journaling documents his weight, length and measurements. I don't think I dated it. I need to go back and do that!
I don't have a tool for creating circles, so I just used a pot lid to trace the half circle here.
