This is my little sister on her wedding day. I wanted to make a few pages to commemorate her special day. I started with this one because I thought it would be easiest. I think wedding pages are hard to do! Her colors were soft pink and chocolate brown so I tried to recreate that here.

I made a pull-out tab for "old, new, borrowed, blue" so I could journal the meaning behind each one. I won't bore you with the details of them all here, except to say a little about the something old.

My mom is the eldest of 4 sisters and when my mother turned 50, her sisters threw her a big birthday party. The sisters gave my mom this big rhinestone "hag" pin and she wore it for the party. Mom took it in stride and saved the pin. When my sister got married, she asked mom if she could wear the "hag" pin since nothing says old like hag, lol.
