I had a lot of fun doing this one! I'm not convinced that it's done yet... it still feels like it needs something.

I made the "purrrrfect" out of letters I cut from one of those sizzlit decorative strips of alphabet letters (called wing dings or something, I can't find it in the superstore) and actually cut them in my DD's cuttlekid machine (before I got my own cuttlebug) using the mats for the sizzix rather than the cuttlekid mats. It didn't cut as cleanly as it would in the proper machine but it was good enough for my purposes.

I cut the large cat-shaped hole in the polka dotted paper using a template I made by tracing my cat's oval-shaped food dish and adding triangles for ears. Then I backed the whole LO in black cardstock, which it needed anyhow because the orange polka dot paper is quite flimsy.

I stickled the floral swirl on the MM journalling circle that projected into the circle. I cut out the cat from a page in the paws and claws 8X8 stack, and stickled the edges. I plan to go back and stickle the yellow stripes when I get my second order of stickles this week (I didn't have yellow).

My MIL and SIL wound embroidery floss around the little circles of cardstock to make balls of yarn.

Thanks for looking!
