This didn't photograh well... it's not so dark IRL. I stamped a screen print along the left side of the background paper. I distressed the measuring tape (the edge of another MM Cloe's Closet paper) with broken china and aged mahogany distress ink, then sprayed it with water. The flourished paper is K and Company and I distressed the edges, first with aged mahogany distress ink, then I used one of those tools for opening those molded plastic packages (it has a sharp edge but it's recessed for safety). I dragged it along the edge of the flourished paper and I really like how it turned out, although you can;t really tell in this pic. I cut out the Moose warning sign from the park newspaper. Letters for "Flow" are from DD1's cuttle-kids machine- the tadpole font, which i got for $6 on a discount website! I finally splurged and got some brand-name buttons (Basic Grey) and I LOVE them! It was hard to actually use them, I just want them in the jar so I can look at them all the time! The dictionary and background paper are from Making Memories (Chloe's Closet) and the flourish paper is K and Company Blue Floral collection.

Journalling reads:No wonder Newfoundlanders are so laid-back and relaxed! Miles of wilderness, beauty, and natural wonders are constant reminders to go with the flow (ice flow, that is)

These are shots from our travels to St Anthony's. On our way we saw 4 moose, 2 whales, an ice flow (in the bottom picture), and lots of other cool stuff. Yes, that IS a young moose crossing the road in front of us! The one without hooves is my DH, obviously happy to be on vacation! I have some other journalling to add on the following pages. Pics of St Anthony's itself will be on the next pages.
