This is the first of 2 1-page layouts that will face each other, and are part of the same nature hike we took in early august. It was the first time we took the kids out on a long-ish hike (2 hours) and we were really excited that they took to it so well, as our pre-kids life involved a lot of hiking and we've been dying to get back out in the woods.

Book page if from a vintage book I found at a used bookstore (didn't have the heart to tell the shopkeeper what I was buying it for!)

Tiny tag is from MM's Vintage Findings line
I altered the tag using distress ink (orange and green) and water on a craft mat. I dipped it in, swooshed it around, then let it dry. Saw it on a Tim Holtz video.
