As part of the October Anything Goes Challenge, I'm making a mini album. I'm saving this (among so many others of this album) in my inspirations because the whole thing is so flippin dippin cool.
The paper roll is such a cool idea, thank you for sharing this with us, I'm already planning on making a mini album made only out of the rolls and tags =D
P3: a quote from the book I think the flowers are prima. The purple scallop lifts up to show a hidden pic and quote. (see the next image)
P4 is made from a toilet paper roll. I saw it on YouTube. I flattened a toilet paper roll over over a few days under a heavy cabinet. I covered the whole thing with one piece of pp. then sanded around the opening and painted the first 2-3 inches inside the roll. Because the chipboard frame extends off the TPR page, I embossed it on the back so it would look nice from the other side as well.
These toilet roll pages are the perfect size for the standard shipping tags you can get for dirt cheap at Staples/Office depot. I think it looks interesting to have different sized pages in a mini and I like them to be interactive, so these TP roll pages fit both those bills. There are 2 in this album.
The pic on p4 is my 2 dd's sitting on the bench with Anne as she waits for Matthew to pick her up from the train station. I liked how the play kind of played out right around you, rather than all being on a stage (some of it was on a stage). When Matthew came looking for a boy, asking everyone around if they saw an orphan boy, no one was answering, so I was the one who piped up and said "I saw an orphan, but it wasn't a boy" Maybe they'll cast me in next year's show. I could handle a whole summer in PEI.
