This is the right side of my U-shaped workspace. I gave my room a makeover to try to make space for my Cricut Expression. We bought these inexpensive shelves at our local hardware store. DH put them up and I tried to add a decorative touch by putting ribbons on my baskets. I love that my kleenex box matches my room, and I'm always reluctant to use it, as I don't know where we bought it, so I won't be able to replace it lol! DH also mounted my chipboard alpha storage bins on the wall so all that will be on this table is my Cricut (which will sit where my trimmer is) and my sewing machine.
I did a lot of decorative projects this weekend. I re-covered my chipboard bins with new pp which freshened it up a lot. It weaved ribbons around the long basket above the alpha storage bins (the basket holds my hot glue gun and glue sticks). It put green and blue ribbons around the bottoms of my circular baskets which hold my machine- and hand-sewing supplies. I tied green ribbon bows around all my lined square wicker baskets (4 altogether, 3 pictured here).
Awhile ago I took my alphas off my clip it up and put them in these baskets, and I love it! When I need to do a title I pull down out basket and take my time flipping through my Thickers. Much better than my old set up, where they were crowded onto my CIU and it was cumbersome to put them back if I took out a few different options. I'm really loving baskets in my craft room. I think I'm as basket scrapper! The little black paisley box has my glitter and pearl-Ex, which is handy, as my embossing station is just off to the left (not pictured). The basket up top hold ATC stuff.
I really love how this wall looks with shelves- much nicer than the posters and junk I had on the wall before.
