I made this page for multiple challenges: Doodle, Paint, Flower and Scrap Your Name...I used a Bazzil cardstock for background and painted white paint on it to serve as matting for the photo. I printed out the photo on a white cardstock. I doodled the flourishes in gold on the right side of the photo and black swirls on the left using Pebeo hobby paints from Panduro. I cut out the flowers painted and doodled on them with red and gold paints before layering them to form 3 flowers of diff. sizes. Around the edges of the black cardstock I used Adirondack acrylic paint dabber and also to mask the flourish shapes on the four corners. Basically the only bought embellies on this page are the 4 red flower faux gems at the corners - everything else I did/made by hand.

*** Forgot to mention, for the Scrap Your Name challenge, I used my name LEINOR for the title but it also forms a part of the journaling which reads: "I was given the name Leinor after Cherlei and Norma; the 2 nurses who attended my birth. I think the closest meaning to it will have to be the same as that of LEONOR, which is LIGHT."
