This is a photo of my youngest ds taken during a photo shoot at his kindy in 2006. I've had this 12"x12" transparency overlay which has been sitting in my stash for so long...I'm finally able to put it to good use. I can't even remember the manufacturer's name. I made a slit around a quarter of the clock at the right bottom corner and slid the photo in so that the photo is actually sitting on the overlay but part of the clock is over it...LOL I hope I'm making sense here:-)

I painted the chipboard swirls with black paint and then coated them lightly with gold paint before they're dry to give an antique-gold effect. I've been doing this a lot lately with foam die-cuts also...LOL talk about obsession!
