Gorgeous page and photo. I love the way you added the swirls with white ink to the red flowers and circle. Very clever. I like "homemade" looking circles, so I rather like your imperfect circle. You can always use a pot lid or something to trace, then cut. So cute that you literally burned the paper, LOL. Great job.
It might be a different style for you, but it looks like you nailed it! This is wonderful. The florals and flourishes really frame the photo nicely without taking any attention away from it. I think you did a great job.
This is a little bit of a different style for me but I figured I would give it a try. I might add more to it but I'm not sure. This picture is one of my favorites! Its my husband and I on our honeymoon. We went to Cove Haven (in P.A.) and I know that it is a little cheesy but they come to your room and take pictures. But I thought it was cute. My circle is a little crooked...thinking I am gonna have to buy one of those things that cuts circles. For the flowers I just used plain red paper, punched them out and then used a white ink pad and swirl stamp. I did the same for the paper behind the picture. For the lighter flowers I used cream colored paper and then used the Fired Brick distress ink. For the edges of the light paper I wanted an aged/burnt look so I burned it. I know that doesn't sound very safe but it worked for me lol. Thanks for looking and any feedback is appreciated!
