WOW!!! Beautiful. The poem..... wow I'm speechless. I can see you did put alot of Thought into it.. That you did take your time.. that you stopped and let your feeling go.. wonderful. That paper.. is outstanding too.. I've NEVER seen anything like it... and I said out loud .. WOW its just so mesmerizing!! I HATE waiting.. but I too have learned to wait. With my medical problems there are things I am NOT able to do, so I have to wait on someone else to do it.. Others don't find what I want done a necessity so we have conflict. But I've learn to just suggest this has to be done and WAIT for it to happen.
This is greate.Love the colors and the ray coming from you. I am totaly impatient.I get my "thinkingtime" walking the dog, espacialy in the night when nobody else is out there and the gratest walks of all are the snow once. Walking through that fresh fallen snow gives me peace. I think it all has to do with your perspective. When I wait in line and the cashier has a 5 min chat with her friend, that just makes me mad. She should work! Even as a little child I never had enough time. That might be why some people hate waiting and some just don't know what to do with the time. The art of waiting! What agreate titel and idea. Maybe we all should see somethings in a different light.
Oh so wonderful! My DH and I have the opposite view about lines-he hates them-I don't! LOL! I think you should publish this or even the poem!!! The layering and design are perfect!! jen
Ok, I've been examining this page for over 10 minutes and am still at a loss of where to begin! The bg pp is very eye catching, but having drawn you in, there is just so much more to see! This is incredibly creative, innovative, and just COOL! Love it!
That is one way to look at having to wait that I didn't think of ---THANKS! I will definately think of it next time I have to wait :) ---I love how you did the journaling! very nice page! :) oh and the colors are awesome!
I stopped by your place to thank you for the nice comment you left on my Advice page, and this caught my eye - and my heart! This LO is amazing. Every inch of it. I love your poem, I love the photo - the whole feel of it. HOW did you do that background paper???
CREATIVE take on an everday occurance...and, yeah, WHY is it so annoying to most people? Fabulous perspective...waiting does give one a 'breather', a space of time to slow down. Why is rushing and being over-scheduled a badge of accomplishment?! Why is self esteem tied to being behind the 8 ball? I absolutely love this page, it's message and what it represents. Great poem, like the edgy feel and color...cool clock. :)
I recently realized that my easy-going attitude about waiting is not quite the standard. I was compelled to write a poem about it and then I felt the need to scrap it out on a page. The poem says:
waiting is free it requires you to do nothing and invariably it seems to always come just when you are rushing so it’s like a get out of jail free card when you most need it you get to STOP and think for a few settle down and try to remember your name (just who am i again?) ain’t nothing to it this is the easiest thing in the world to pull off i can do it standing on my head and of course with the requisite one arm tied behind my back so i need to ask why all the hating on waiting?
