Today we planned on staying in town to see stuff around Dover and also do some scrapping. As we all got the morning started, we headed out to see Spence’s Bazaar which is an Amish bazaar/food mart/flea market. All of the cheeses, meats, desserts, etc. were made from the Amish to be sold here. As we walked in to the building, we made our first stop, as Raquel puts it, the “guilt free” mini donut stand. Half dozen mini donuts covered in the right amount of cinnamon and sugar was only a $1. Then we looked around the food section for Robert and Kara to see what they want to buy later and take home with them.
Our next stop was Michaels for scrapbooking supplies. We decided we all had to pick pictures for someone else to scrap. I had Raquel, Kara had me, and Raquel had Kara. While in Michael’s, Kara and I decided to get Raquel a new paper cutter as a thank you gift and because her old one was useless, we thought she needed an upgrade. While we were shopping, Robert started to get a migraine, so Dustin and I took Raquel, Kara, and Robert home. Dustin and I went to Red Lobster for lunch as Dustin was craving (and had been for a long time) their cheesy biscuits. We ate lots of cheesy biscuits, which were absolutely delicious and shrimp. The whole meal was perfect for a lunch and was a nice treat.
Back to the house, we spent the next couple of hours at the pool. It took me awhile to get in the water because it was cold, so much that I gasped when submerged. We had a great time playing.
After pool time, Kara, Robert, Raquel and I went to Byler’s Amish Market for $1 homemade ice cream. The scoop they give is about 3 normal sized scoops and the ice cream was delicious. I had to bring some home to Dustin, so I brought him a pint of Midnight Madness. It was chocolate ice cream with fudge swirls and chocolate chips. Yum!! As we ate the ice cream, we walked around the isles as Robert and Kara found foods to ship home.
At 730pm Eastern time we had to be on Skype to chat with Bonnie. So while the Guy’s made dinner we chatted for about an hour. She was scrapping along with us while we all talked. It was nice to have another person with us, even if it was for a little while.
The Guys barbequed chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs, and we heated up the macaroni and cheese leftovers. I also made a cucumber and tomato salad which everyone loved.
After we cleaned up dinner, Kara, Raquel, and I finally sat down at the scrap table to begin scrapping. Kara scrapped the pictures I chose were random shots of Dustin and I on our many adventures. I scrapped Raquel’s which were of her 50th Birthday and 25th Anniversary cruise with Tony through the Hawaiian Islands. Raquel scrapped Kara’s Hawaiian Sunset pictures, and they all turned out awesome! We had a great time watching each other think through the process of putting a scrap page together. I finished before everyone else; I’m apparently a quick scrapper, so I headed to bed early.

I used green distress ink and clear emboss powder on the right side of the brown cardboard. I used purple distress ink and clear crackle paint for the letters and date.
