My husband journaled this page for a change since he was the one who took our son to see this Blackhawk.
Journaling reads: (LEFT SIDE) I love the cockpit photos (opposite page) but my favorite is this one of you leaning against the side below the USArmy tag. You are leaning on it like it was your new sports car. What a treat!
(RIGHT SIDE): Today we had a special treat that most people never get to have. A member of the JPNA arranged to have a UH-60A Blackhawk land in a park on 49th & Manitoba. The chopper circled once and then landed not 200 feet from us. When it got close to the ground it blew leaves all over the place and you thought that was really great. Then the crew opened all the doors and just let the kids climb all over the thing. I don't know who had more fun...me or you...but I'll never forget it.
