Wonderful layout of an important moment in your oldest childs life....looks like you're doing a great job raising your kid's AND getting the hang of this fun craft...or addiction, should I say???
This is an awesome LO! Congrats to your DD!! Love the colors and the pps. The bg paper is so vivid. The flowers are just fabulous and I adore the butterflies! Excellent job!!
Cool lo, Great job on finding your own way to scrap. I just love the frame around the diploma. Great way to make the page pop along with the great flowers
This is wonderful...love the florals and flourishes and butterflies. Putting them on pop dots is a great idea and if you fold the wings up a bit it makes them look like they just landed there....but these look pretty the way they are anyway. Cool idea framing the diploma. Sweet photo!
You're doing great finding your own style....great job!
I like all the butterflies on the page, but especially the larger sheer ones--they're gorgous. Did you make them? I like the little metal frame around the diploma also, it makes it look like the diploma was scanned and then miniturized to fit the frame. It's good you seek your own style--that's the best part of being creative in scrapbooking.
Gorgeous LO!!! I love your use of flowers and your colors are beautiful!!! I'm very glad that you didn't allow others to influence you, your style is beautiful just as you have done it
So glad to read that you're wise enough to understand the influences of others on your layout! Love the use of these darker colored flowers with this brighter color papers. Wonderful memory and page!
Pam....You are KILLING ME!! You have such great ideas with your LO's!! I can't seem to get the hang of the flower thing and you already have it mastered!! This is fabulous!!!
Fabulous Pam! I love the entire LO! The colors are just Perfect! Beautiful, just beautiful, Your family is gorgeous!!!!! Luv Luv Luv everything!!! Great Job! I'm going out of town and will be back late Sunday evening, I'll touch base with you on Monday, Have a safe and wonderful Weekend!!!!! xoxoxBig Hugs! Neisa
ABSOLUTELY Go with your own style!!! I love the frame around the diploma--it is an awesome effect. I love your style by the way...too much scrapping starts to look the same after awhile.
Pam - this looks great as is. We do all need to find our own style. I personally love pop dots & love everything to pop off the page. You have indeed found your own style!!
Pam!!!!! I am so excited for you! What a GREAT page! I love everything about it - so glad that you didn't let other influence you so you can find your own style! So cool!!!
You did a wonderful job, Pam! I'm a huge fan of 3-D foam dots so I can't argue with that idea. Love the photo. How wonderful that your kids have such a great role model! Love the masking and the lovely embellies! Very pretty layout!
This is a LO of my 3 children at my oldest DD's (Courtney ) graduation last year. Her siblings were and still are very proud of her. They look up to her in so many ways. She is an EXCELLENT role model. I am very blessed to have great kids. I started and restarted this at my scrap class. I had to finish it at home though. I felt as if others were trying to influence my creativity. I am new to scrapping and need to find my own style.
I am thinking about taking the adhesive off of the butterfly stickers and raising them with glue dots. I like the colors of the flowers because the match my DS's shirt so well. I love how after I placed a metal frame (K&COMPANY METAL ART) around the diploma, it seems as if my youngest DD is holding it.
