Just a layout about all of the supplies we had to buy for our boys for school this year. Journaling reads:
Purchasing school supplies for you boys used to be so easy.. A box of crayons, a box of markers, a few pencils, an eraser and a bottle of glue and we could call it good. Each new grade seems to bring along with it new “needs” for school supplies, and this year was no exception. Now there’s things like headphones and cd’s for computer class, special calculators for math class, and locks for gym class. We bought wide ruled paper and college ruled paper, graph paper and composition books,. In addition to the usual crayons and markers, we added blue pens, black pens, red pens, highlighters in every color and boxes and boxes of pencils. Then there were the glue sticks, special pencils for art class, watercolors, scissors, pencil sharpeners, Kleenex boxes and bottles of hand sanitizer.. The lists seemed never ending…. . .especially with having to get enough supplies for the three of you. When all was said and done we put it all in a pile on the living room floor. We were all amazed at how much was there! The sad thing is that I know in a few months we’ll be out of pencils, the glue sticks will be gone and the pens will have simply disappeared to who-knows-where…. . . And it will be back to the store for us for more school supplies! September, 2005
