Wall hanging I made for my daughter's friend's Birthday. Kyra loves to dance so that was the inspiration for the bottom pleated music fabric and rose trim. The top has "EST 2006" because that is the year she was born. For the bottom left oval, I used the CTMH "SOAR" stamp, and the large bird stamp was from the same CTMH stamp set. On the bird, I used a double ink technique, where you press the stamp in one color (S.Up Kiwi Kiss) then barely press the edges only of the stamp in another color (Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet). You can double click on the picture to see close up. I also stamped the bird on 2 sep pieces of cardstock, cut them out, adhered the first one, then pop dotted the second on top (not as obvious from the picture - but it gives to dimension). I used Cricut Mini Monograms cartridge for the LARGE scallops, and the chipboard mini frame on the very top is from acidfree.com. I used Fabric Tac to adhere the pleated music fabric and rose trim & freyed the music fabric quite a bit. Chipboard license plate for the base of this wall hanging is also from acidfree.com. All of the rest is from personal stash (btw, how stinkin cute is that chipboard dress below Kyra's name?). BTW, sorry the photo is sideways...I'm not the most technical girl! TFL!
