1st College Care Pkg

To show our love and support, I asked my Alyssa for her 3 suite-mates names and made her and them these little gift bags, stuffed full of Snickers, Reeses, Hersheys, York patties, Dove nuggets, etc. (the good stuff!). The mini bags are from Joanns, then I made the tags with white and black cardstock, inked the edges, stamped with a black swirl, and cut thin strips of flocked black/white pp on the bottom of each tag. This took very little paper and time and really bumped it up a few notches. (I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE flocked paper!) I added the inked punched heart (w/a silver brad in the center), then tied it all together with some ribbon, pink toole and black-dotted-glittery toole (the black dotted glittery tool doesn't show up well in the pic, but it was the show-stopper of it all). I also wrapped some headbands I thought she'd like (that I found on clearance - SCORE!), and a travel-size Advil in pink with black polka dot wrapping paper. She called me and said she just loved everything and her suite mates loved them. Oh, and the Sketchers I sent her because all of her shoes are uncomfortable and she's doing a ton of walking on the University campus. The tags sound like they took forever, but when you line up 4 and do each step on all of them, it was actually a snap.
