Made for my daughter's teacher for Teacher Appreciation week. Her fave color is Aqua. Used seam binding for homemade ribbon, adding Tim Holtz markers and water and scrunching, for a striped and blended effect. Other yarns/fibers from stash. Tied quote on with some turquoise suade ribbon I had leftover from another project. Used texture paste for raised effect with Tim Holtz stencil. If you haven't tried his texture paste yet, it is incredible. You can appreciate the added texture more when you hold it. The few people I've shown this to immediately began running their fingers over it and asking how I did it. Super easy and fun - just make sure you wash all texture paste off stencil, etc. while still wet, or it will ruin them.
