Give a Cheer
Encouragement card for my friend.
I almost threw out this card, because I learned the hard way that if you try the "ghosting technique" after you've been called away from your art and it is allowed to dry too much, you can't remove the old ink....or you can't remove it enough for the new ink to be true. But I figure its still better than giving my friend a store-bought card and I'm banking on the idea that everyone keeps telling me - that we are our own worst critic.
Anyhoo, I am beginning to embrace the learning and mistake thing....not a true fan of mistakes but if it's the only way I can learn and step out of my comfort zone, then I guess....bring it! LOL!
Incidentally, I bought a Dylusions art journal for that reason - so I can just go without being too concerned about mistakes and to use it as a playground of sorts. A place I can go to try new techniques and products. It has been a BLAST! I will post pics when I get a chance.
