The home we used to live in and we now rent out was severely damaged by hurricane Michael so EVERYTHING inside had to be gutted and replaced. After 6 months, hundreds of calls to the insurance agents, contractors and our renter, (and more than a few sleepless nights) our rental is finally almost done and our renter was able to move back in with her daughter (they have been driving two hours one way every day to school/work because there is no housing. So I made them this canvas wall hanging as part of their house-warming present. First, I decoupaged some T. Holtz tissue randomly all over the canvas, even down the sides. Used lots of acrylic paints, stencils, texture paste on roof, house and tree, gelatos on sun and on edges of pieces, Multi Medium for glue. Hand-dyed seam-binding (hanger) I made with T.Holtz distress inks. Button tied to house with twine. Doodled around tree: “God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good.” Blessings! Debbie
