Some random pictures of my great-aunt Gladys in the 1930's. The little girl in the two middle pictures is my mom. Aunt Gladys never had her own children and doted on my Mom, her only niece. Her husband played violin with a few different dance orchestras in the 1930's and 1940's and they travelled around the country a lot. She was always quite stylish in those years since her husband was in show biz. The journalling identifies who is in the pix - "Aunt Gladys with her mother, Mary, sister-in-law, Billie, and niece, Pattie."
