Mom and the Silk Dress

This is picture of my mother in a favorite navy blue silk dress with little pink rosebuds. I think it was a treasured dress because she kept it. A memorable moment for me was trying it on in my young teen years and thinking that I was "as big," meaning as grown up, as my mother in this picture.

This will become the June Page in Mother's Calendar. The lo itself was inspired by Gabriellep's lovely work.
