SHCG: this is fantastic. Love the title with the different sized letters, and all the doodles. The notes look fantastic on this. Love what you did with the background. I like the puzzle pieces too.
SHCG: I love this! Cute journaling. Love the use of real post its. I have to admit with all of the technology available to me I am still a paper and pen type of girl. Great LO
SHCG: WOW! I love this...this is what a real scrapbook page should look like. The fact that you used real post its is magnificent and amazing. Someday far into the future, this is going to be such a fun page for upcoming generations to look at. No suggestions as I love it just the way it is.
SHCG:What an awesome response!!! I love it..might have to borrow it too this is what my brain feels like each day most of the time! LOL love your doodling!!!

SHCG: holy smokes I love this!!! Squirrel notes, too funny LOL you know there's nothing better then good old paper and pen, well I think so anyways. I really dig your background paper, so colorful and cool! Love the doodling around the title and I really like that you used the same font in your title and journing when referencing squirrel notes. and the actual notes right on the page is a great touch, fab!!! :)
SHCG! What a great way to scrap things from everyday life! I love the title-very nice font! I love the use of the real squirrel notes! I love the way you did the bg-very cool with the different inks! Everything is perfect!
SHCG: LOve this! I especially love how you used real sticky notes. Its really neat how the topic s orgnization yet this page has such an unorganized artistic feel to it. I also scribble all over sticky notes and sometimes I find old ones lying around my bag that were once lost. I wouldnt change a thing about this page, I really love it! Ohhh and I love how the background colors transition like a rainbow
SHCG: HAH! Love this! Love the term Squirrel Notes! I love that you scrapped this, and used your actual notes. Love the doodling around that fantastic font with the perfect color choice to stand out. Great stamping work and journaling fonts. I just saw that puzzle punch on sale yesterday and almost bought it. Guess I'll have to go back after seeing yours. But, I have to say, I didn't see your pieces until the third time I looked at this lo. They might need to be adhered on something thicker and with inked edges so that they can fulfill their visual triangle (though the triangle is not critical here). Funny how one of those pieces includes logic. The stars are sweet touches of Sharon, and the brads add even more of that pegboard feel. Super job on this challenge!
shcg - one word: LOVE!!! ok, I guess I should say more than that... I used to live using post its and seeing this really makes me wish I'd done a layout of it. The "messiness" of this is perfecto. It gives a very real feel, no sugar coating, just that this is the way your life is. Awesome!
Here is my response to Margaret/scrappinmomto2girls' "Running Out Of Time" challenge for Scrap Happenzz Critique Group to do a LO about time organization/getting things done.
Journaling: "Yes I have an Iphone to keep track of my personal appointments. Yes I use Outlook at the Office to keep track of what to do there. But around my home & in my bag, lurk the rawest form of my time management, Squirrel Notes. Reminders for myself written on assorted stickie notes. Greg starting calling them Squirrel Notes at some point, because sometimes I write them very tiny & partially in code; the name stuck. Whether it's stuff to do, stuff I'd like to buy, stuff Re: something I'm crafting, stuff to remember, combinations of info, Squirrel Notes are vital to my getting things done!"
For the background, I used a Colorbox stylus tool w/ moldable foam ends. I heated up the ends & impressed them w/ designs from 2 different stamps. PLEASE NOTE: the band of stamps diagonally across the middle (& under the title) is actually a lime green that contrasts the sticky notes more IRL (this scan makes them look more yellow, though I did put a couple of actually yellow rows above the light green).
I used real "squirrel notes" for this, some of them not all the way adhered down so I got that post-in note look. The silver star sequins are shinier IRL (scan makes them look dark) as are the Stickle dots on the title. I had been missing my trusty old Quickutz Squeeze after months of Expression-love so I dug out a couple QK alphas for this. The black corner borders are cut ribbon. I punched text paper w/ a jigsaw puzzle punch that was at the retreat house I stayed at, I loved that punch, gotta get me one! I "pinned" some of the notes w/ brads.
Thanks for the challenge, Margaret, I had a lot of fun scrapping this!
