This is a paper bag album that I made with bags from Hobby Lobby. I opened up the bags and flattened them out on the fold line then trimmed a little off the end so that each finished page measured approx 9.25 x 8. Using cardstock and my scoring board I was able to add extra pages that flipped open in various directions. I'm starting to prefer making albums like this versus putting pages behind sheet protectors. I like to be able to touch the page and also add the extra pages that flip open. Using one of the bags as a template, I cut a piece of green cardstock for the top and bottom, then set eyelets in each piece. I then used the eyelet piece and a pencil to draw circles on each bag so that I could punch the holes. I lined them up and strung some heavy twine through the holes and after tying the bow I put some clear glue on it so that it would not come undone. This turned out to be a sturdy album and will even stay up on a bookshelf. I rubbed in some gold Rub 'n Buff around the edges using the Tim Holtz blending tool. You can find Rub 'n Buff at Michael's and Hobby Lobby. They also have silver. The twine is just for decoration - the bags are glued together on the left
