This past x-mas I went to visit my family in California and one of my nieces had the wonderful idea of making TAMALES wich I had never in my life done before and probably after that experience never again *=/ talk about work! well some brave women in my family including me*=D (this is ladies only) went to my sisters house to help, my nephew drop off his lil daughter Kylee and my other nephew drop off his lil daughter Anaya, EVERYBODY HELPED!. My sister Jackie fill that bucket half way and had the girls soak and clean the corn tuscks for the tamales, I thought they looked so cute soaking and having a conversation while they were working, so I couldn't help myself...took out my camera and took this pictures of my two hard working lil nieces. I will journal it later since this is an important event for my family because we are passing on traditions and the importance of interacting with the family. We had such a good time laughing and working and cursing at the darn tamales because we made sooo many of them and we were sooo tired went to bed at 3;00 a.m and had to get up really early to finish up the tamales and have them ready for x-mas eve. *=) T so much FL *=) p.s thank you Cmom go for the lil heart and lil flowers they look super cute on my lo. *=D
