April Heritage challenge entry: this will be the first page in my Mom's heritage album. If I can find an earlier baby picture I will use it, but I have this one in there for now. I went online and found some information on the day she was born, common grocery item prices, top hits, top books etc. You could put the top headlines but they were depressing so I just added "Baby girl born to Gillis' in Nova Scotia! The pink "our baby's record" is a scan of my mom's actual baby book that she has kept all these years, and so is the other pic with the baby reading on it..it has all of her birth information in her mother's handwriting! I found the design a little tricky because I didn't really want to cover anything up!
