That lace and your handmade flowers are PERFECT with this LO. In times gone by, our moms and grandmoms didn't have Prima. I don't know HOW they ever managed it, but I'm sure they did what you've done here and created their own. Beautiful touch! Beautiful LO.
I still say you are so very very lucky to have these amazing photos of your parents! It's obvious that they have a loving, fun relationship by this pics! Your flowers look Fantastic, Laurie!! Your distressing and inking created a lovely vintage look! Love how the lace frames part of the photo! Those alpha buttons are PERFECT...and they're Dollar Store?!?!? What a find!!! Another wonderful page, Laurie!!!
For the May Heritage challenge, my parents as newlyweds, Jan/60. I tried the crumpling/distressing/inking technique on the flowers in the corner. Stitching below main photo is a rub on and so is the date spot. I just love this candid photo of my parents and I also really like the little one at the top. It is not a good photo, off centre as it is, but I love how it shows the loving, teasing interactions which characterized their relationship!
