Like the way you've journaled again. Like the simple strip of lace and the great expanse of blue that really helps the two of them stand out that much better in the photo.
*Also made for Maya Mist review at Craft Critique.com. :-)
Photo taken after my dad had proposed to my mom. It may have been the next day... or later that day, but it was *during* that trip. :-)
This journaling wasn't practiced or written before hand. I just wrote directly on the layout... how I felt, what I wanted to say. So now... I see ways I could make it better. But I like the free-flow of journaling and thoughts here. :) It'll probably sound like rambling... and some many not make sense after previous sentences, but it's how i feel and what I think. :-) I just went with it...
Journaling: There are those certain few... those photos you feel like you can stare forever. You can read their thoughts, know their hopes and dreams for the future. Just pure joy. Happiness. This is what I feel when I look at this photo of Mom and Dad. This photo that I passed every day for 18 years. It feels like home to me. Mom said "yes," and of course, Dad had his camera the whole time. Their guests signed THIS photo at their wedding, and on our walls it hung. Probably my favorite photo of all time. So much love in this photo, and I love that they shared it with us for all those years. Pure happiness.
