I didn't get on a computer for several days..sorry it took so long for me to leave love....this turned out beautiful. I'm glad I got to see its creation. Love the colors and all the neat techniques you used...very creastive.
You know just what colors work with one another. You really make the picture come alive. I feel I truly see your son looking up at the tree. The flowers and the butterfies really make the picture, then to have the color in the words match perfectly. I'm in Awe!;-)
This is a picture of my son. I had no idea what I was going to do; I discovered the page along the way. I used glimmer mist on a prima mask which I then cut out. I used the cut out to make a matting for the photo. The mask left behind, which was then white, I sprayed with lemongrass glimmer mist and then stickled the edges with eucalyptus. I used my Cricut for the letters; "Awe" was written with Blackletter and "in" was written with Jasmine. I made the butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch. One butterfly I made from the pp and the other I made with Prisma pencils and odorless mineral oil. I stickled the butterfly edges in yellow. I used Chandelier Glimmer Glam on the butterflies and the Prima packaging that's behind the photo. I used green scrappers floss around the photo, too. The doillie is smooched in mocha and molasses.
