I love the gazebo! WHen I first looking without reading I thought the picture was actually taken with the gazebo in the photo then when I read that you did that affect - I'm impressed!
Also love the wavy lines with the blue velum to diffuse the brightness. Awesome layout!
What a great page! I love the gazebo with the photo behind it. It is a nice touch. I think I would fall in love with Hawaii if I was taking a trip there! So exciting!
as I was looking through all of the challenge layouts again this morning I couldn't help but tell you again how striking your layout is.....absolutely stunning! The gazebo is so cool....you are a master with your cricut!
WOW! The work on that gazebo is amazing. I swear I am actually looking at scenery through it! Genius! Also, really like the way that font looks, need to remember to use that. Beautiful LO!
OMG! I now NEED the Spring Cottage cart!! I am in love with that gazebo!! We have one in our backyard so I am sure I could get plenty of use out of it! I LOVE that picture behind it, that is very cool! Beautiful LO
Wonderful job, Di! I absolutely love the waves and your great photos! The ferns, flowers and gazebo are perfect! I love your use of your colors! Beautifully done!
What gorgeous photos!! I love how you framed the photo with the gazebo..SUPERB!! Your floral and fern clusters are beautiful; love the coloured waves, excellent with the vellum!! Looks like a surreal place to be!! You certainly made awesome use of your Cricut!! A most magnificent and enchanting page!!
Your little flowers and ferns are perfect!!!!!! This is so peaceful and lovely, makes me want to go to Hawaii right this moment and sit near the water and drink something sweet with a little umbrella sticking from the glass!!!!
This is for a challenge in the Rockin' Scrapin' Grans group I belong to that was to focus on a 'Moment for me (myself)'. The 'twist' required us to take a color quiz to find out what color crayon we were and our page was to be mainly in that color and the opposite color......mine was Blue and opposite Orange. I used a coral colored paper instead of straight on orange...blended better with the other colors. The waves of colors strip on the left side is something I saw in a magazine a few years ago and wanted to use it. It was too 'in your face' with the pics so I covered that strip with a piece of blue vellum. I like how it is diffused and softer now. I used my Cricut a lot. The Gazebo is cut from the Spring Cottage cart. I cut it 5" high so I could slip a 4x6" picture behind it. The roof is cut from a shiny copper colored brown paper which imitates a copper roof. The ferns are also cut from the Spring Cottage cart. The flowers are cut from the Creative Memories Traveler cart and the font is from the Lyrical Letters Font. I love the Garden of Eden and was so glad very few people were there...made it more intimate and I wished I could have a whole day there by myself with a good book. This is for my BOM
