This is the front of a birthday card I made for my nephew, he's a Fire Explorer. I thought it might be too juvenile for him but he got a kick out of it! I tried to keep it a little masculine by using a black card and I also thought the black made the red, orange & yellow colors look good although it makes the water coming out of the hose a little difficult to see.
For the letters, I cut them with the Base Camp Cricut cartridge in orange and again in red and then cut the shadow of the letters in yellow. I layered the orange letters on the yellow shadow and then cut the red letters in half with a decorative scissor and glued layered the red at the bottom of the letters.
